Ruoning Yin claimed the Buick LPGA Shanghai title on Sunday, closing with a four-under-par 68 to finish at 11-under-par 277 and secure a one-stroke victory over South Korea’s Hye-Jin Choi.
The Chinese golfer delivered a decisive moment on the back nine, converting a four-foot birdie putt on the 16th hole to move ahead at 10-under-par. Having remained level with Choi through the 15th, Yin took the lead with two holes remaining and held on to complete the victory.
Choi, who had led the tournament through the first three rounds, recorded a final-round 71 to finish second at 10-under-par. She had entered Sunday with a one-stroke advantage after maintaining the lead through 54 holes.
Amy Yang finished third at eight-under-par after carding a four-under-par 68 in the final round, three strokes behind the champion.

The victory marked Yin’s seventh LPGA Tour title and her second Buick LPGA Shanghai win, following her previous triumph at the tournament in 2024. She also won the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, her first major championship.
Yin’s victory concludes a successful week in Shanghai, where she produced a composed final-round performance to overtake the tournament leader and secure the title on home soil.
