Swiss tennis legend and long-time Rolex ambassador Roger Federer made a notable appearance at Watches & Wonders 2025 in Geneva, marking a significant moment for the brand’s latest release. Federer was seen wearing the all-new Rolex Land-Dweller, a watch that had been the subject of much speculation leading up to the event.
A Sneak Peek Before the Official Launch
Just days before the official unveiling, Federer was spotted wearing the unreleased Land-Dweller, sparking excitement among watch enthusiasts. The watch features a distinctive honeycomb-patterned dial and introduces Rolex’s new “Dynapulse” escapement, representing a significant advancement in the brand’s mechanical innovation.
Rolex's First New Sports Model in Over a Decade
The Land-Dweller stands out as Rolex’s first entirely new sports model since the introduction of the Sky-Dweller in 2012. Available in platinum, rose gold, and white Rolesor, the watch comes in both 36mm and 40mm sizes. Its design draws inspiration from the historic Oysterquartz, featuring an angular case and a modified ultra-slim Jubilee bracelet.
Federer’s involvement in the launch underscores his deep connection with Rolex and highlights the brand’s commitment to blending tradition with innovation.
