Lillie Keenan and Kick On delivered a winning performance at the Washington International Horse Show, securing the $340,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Washington CSI5*-W on 24 October 2026 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, USA. The victory marked the third leg of the 2026/2027 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League and earned the American combination one of the season’s most significant results to date.

Competing before a home crowd at The Show Place Arena, Keenan and the 12-year-old stallion produced a clear jump-off round in 36.69 seconds to take the President’s Cup title. Their performance proved decisive in a competitive field featuring riders from eight nations, with 13 of the 22 combinations advancing to the jump-off after clear first rounds.

Ireland’s Daniel Coyle finished second aboard Farrel in 37.13 seconds, while compatriot Shane Sweetnam secured third place with Pia Maria H in 38.09 seconds. All three podium combinations completed the jump-off without faults, with Keenan’s speed and precision ultimately separating the winning pair from their closest challengers.

The result carried particular significance for Keenan, whose association with the Washington International Horse Show began during her childhood. Having competed at the venue from the age of seven or eight, she progressed through its pony, junior hunter and equitation divisions before establishing herself among the leading names in international show jumping. Victory in the World Cup class brought that journey full circle, adding the event’s prestigious President’s Cup to her record.

Speaking after the competition, Keenan described Kick On as a remarkable partner, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to compete with the stallion. The pair’s victory also secured 20 qualifying points towards the 2027 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Gothenburg, Sweden, strengthening their position in the campaign towards the season-ending championship.

For Kick On, the result marked a winning start to his World Cup season. The partnership has previously competed at two World Cup Finals, in Basel in 2025 and Fort Worth in April 2026, finishing inside the top ten. With another strong performance at the highest level, Keenan and the stallion have continued to demonstrate their potential as the North American League progresses.

The Washington leg concluded with Keenan at the top of the podium, ahead of Coyle and Sweetnam, as the qualification campaign moves forward. The next North American League leg is scheduled for Toronto, Canada, on 14 November, where competitors will continue their pursuit of points towards the 2027 Final.
