GPHG 2025: PART 3 OF THE 25TH EDITION’S OFFICIAL NOMINATIONS

In Part 3 of our GPHG 2025 coverage, we explore the Jewellery, Artistic Crafts, and Challenge categories. From gem-set icons by Bvlgari, Chopard, and Van Cleef & Arpels to métiers d’art masterpieces by Piaget, Louis Vuitton, and Voutilainen — and finally the accessible creativity of independents like Atelier Wen, Kurono Tokyo, and Behrens — this chapter celebrates the full spectrum of watchmaking artistry.

The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) celebrates its 25th edition this year, bringing together artistry, technical mastery, and creative daring. With 90 nominees across 15 categories, the event shines a light on the best of contemporary watchmaking.

In this third part of our coverage, we explore the Jewellery and Artistic Crafts categories, where gem-setting, métiers d’art, and pure imagination redefine what a timepiece can be. We also highlight the “Petite Aiguille” — a category reserved for creations priced under CHF 8,000, where independent thinking and accessible luxury take center stage.
